What Have You Learned From Your Audience Feedback

During this project I have been creating content aimed at a particular target audience. I delievered my questions to that audience, in which allowed me to get the best results and to also get a unbiased view on the pieces I created. The feedback was very positive, giving me reasons why they liked particular areas in depth and in some cases they couldn't find any faults. This feedback has taught me that truely the audience has as much impact on a project as the person undertaking it, I had to get inside the mind of the target audience, to see what they wanted from a CD cover, Advert and Music Video and then output these thoughts into the final product which I believe I have managed to achieve . I wanted the CD cover , Magazine Advert and Music Video to be something which interests the target audience, and they could see being sold on a shelf in a store.

I collected a wide variety of audience feedback in many different ways, from using internet methods such as Facebook comments, handing out paper questionnares and filming the target audience reactions to the final products. I believe that all these methods allowed me to increase the amount of information i recieved from my target audience, and being able to give out multiple forms wether it be via the web or conventional paper questionnaires allowed for the audience to express their feedback in what ever way they chose.

The results of the questionnaires have truely been pleasing to read and watch. From people writing that they can't fault the cd cover and saying the video is creative and frightening, this is the egsact reation I wanted my pieces to have upon the audience and I am pleased that they feel as postive as I about the quality of all of the final pieces.

In conclusion what I learnt from audience feedback is that its absolutly necessary so that the best results can be achieved. I was hugely pleased with the amount of praise and comments I recieved from all my pieces, and the target audience taking the time out to answer the questions and expressing their feelings on all the pieces. I also learnt that using multiple ways of reaching the target audience is very important, and just vastly increases the amount of feedback you recieve on a product.
